OUR TEAM
Our experienced provider team brings deep knowledge and training in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, chronic pain, myofascial dysfunction, acute injuries, and the broader stressors that impact holistic health and wellbeing. We integrate both ancient and emergent techniques, with a focus on pain rehabilitation and prevention through comprehensive patient care.
We begin by understanding your unique starting point—seeing you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. From there, we work collaboratively to address your specific concerns and build a personalized, achievable care plan. Our shared-care model allows for seamless scheduling across providers, so you can access the support you need when you need it.
We welcome all people — all races, genders, sexual orientations, body types, professions, and religions. Our clinic is open to new patients who are very familiar with acupuncture & bodywork as well as those just curious about getting started.

“ Everyone deserves to live a more pain-free and balanced life. I’m inspired by the immediate and longterm effects I’ve seen acupuncture, bodywork, and yoga have on a person and find this work both humbling and invigorating! It is a privilege to be trained in and share these healing modalities with our community. ”
As a life-long student of movement and owner of Turning Pointe, Alissa has over a decade of personal and professional experience dedicated to the healing arts — from teaching yoga and therapeutic exercise in physical therapy clinics to practicing massage therapy in chiropractic clinics and wellness centers. She is dedicated to helping individuals identify and treat pain and movement dysfunction at the source to return to activities they love and avoid future injuries.
Patients often make their way to Alissa’s treatment room exhausted and desperate for relief after finding few answers elsewhere. Her approach has been described as deeply informed, affirming, compassionate, and caring — and she is so fulfilled by following the threads that lead to less suffering for everyone from professional athletes to folks just wishing to feel better in their bodies.
Alissa is passionate about supporting people who are struggling with multifaceted symptoms, overlapping or evasive diagnoses, and persistent pain. She is particularly interested and skilled in addressing radiculopathic conditions including experiences of weakness, numbness, and tingling; chronic headaches, menstrual cycle concerns, injuries related to sports and exercise, and symptoms of overtaxed nervous systems including anxiety and insomnia. Alissa also brings a deep understanding of how circumstances of overwhelm, transitional grief, and bereavement affect the body, connecting the dots between physical and mental-emotional distress.
Alissa holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Human Physiology from San Francisco State University. She has 500 hour certifications in both massage therapy and yoga instruction. She is currently pursuing a post-graduate certificate in Sports Medicine Acupuncture from one of the most advanced orthopedic & sports medicine acupuncture programs available. When she is not at the clinic, Alissa enjoys hiking, cycling, swimming, creating fiber art, and spending time with her partner and two cats. “ I am motivated to help you heal quickly so you can return to the activities you love! I offer patient-centered care while seeking to find the root causes of imbalances in your system by supporting both your mind and body. ”
Over 30 years ago, Dr. Charisse Squires began her journey into natural medicine, initially drawn to how diet influences health. Her interest quickly expanded to include nutrition, exercise, mind-body practices, herbal medicine, supplements, and Chinese medicine. In 2000, she was introduced to acupuncture and herbal medicine. Though initially skeptical, her first treatment brought noticeable stress relief, prompting her to continue exploring this healing approach. Over the years, she has successfully used Chinese medicine to manage a wide range of personal health concerns, including kidney stones, pain, stress, colds, digestive issues, fatigue, and heart-related symptoms.
Charisse began formal training in 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (MAcOM), and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM). She is also a certified Reiki Master with over 25 years of experience, a Shamanic practitioner, and is trained in Shiatsu and Tuina massage. She stays current with the latest research and techniques to provide the best care for her patients.
Nationally certified to prescribe Chinese herbal medicine, Charisse owns a full herbal medicinary and offers herbal consultations for those not receiving acupuncture. She treats a wide variety of conditions and is known for her gentle, compassionate style, especially with those new to acupuncture. For patients preferring stronger techniques, she also offers trigger point therapy.
Her special interests lie in internal medicine—digestive issues, urinary dysfunction, cardiac concerns, hormonal imbalance, autoimmune disorders, and women’s health. She also helps patients manage or eliminate pain using acupuncture, cupping, massage, herbal medicine, and electro-acupuncture. A former athlete, she understands the toll physical pain can take.
When not working, Charisse enjoys the Pacific Northwest’s outdoor beauty, music, arts, gardening, and time with her beloved dog. You can learn more about Charisse in this meet your practitioner interview on our blog.
CAMERON BARTON, LMT

Mondays, Wednesdays, Sundays
“ It is my sincere belief that therapeutic touch and deep listening can better the world. Through working with your whole-person and approaching bodywork holistically to care for your physical and emotional bodies utilizing science-based and patient-centered techniques, we will work together to create safety and comfort in the body. My goal is to meet you where you are, whoever you are, whatever your experience of this world. ”
Cameron comes to this work with great reverence for community, connection, and repair. Informed by their own experiences with injury, chronic pain, pain management, and grief, their top priority is to understand your unique experience and work together to build a plan of care that is individualized, dynamic and sustainable.
Each session with Cameron is adaptable and meant to meet you where you are. Their approach is slower and rooted in nervous system care, inviting the body to unwind before diving more deeply into unraveling patterns of dysfunction or pain. Cameron’s massage work is trauma-informed and pulls from a range of modalities including craniosacral therapy, muscle energy techniques, cupping therapies, myofascial work, and elements of tui na. They work well with individuals who have histories of complex pain or injury, folks seeking nervous system regulation, people experiencing chronic TMJ or tension headaches, senior patients, and all people looking to feel a little more at home in their body.
Cameron is passionate about end of life care and has a background in pain medicine and primary care. Following a brain injury in 2019, Cameron received craniosacral therapy and was deeply moved by the experience and its gentle, but profound effects. It was truly life-changing and inspired her to pursue massage and craniosacral therapies, where she has found a deeply fulfilling career. Her goal is to facilitate repair and healing for those in her community and especially those she sees versions of herself in; individuals with limited financial resources, who have found medical settings uncomfortable, who believe in connection, and who have felt separate from, or isolated by greater systems of our society. She aims to create a space that feels safe for you to show up to as your whole self.
Outside of Turning Pointe, Cameron can be found reading, taking photos, studying up on new modalities, riding bikes, swimming, giggling, watching trains, and soaking up time with the ones she most loves!
At this time, Cameron’s insurance credentialing is currently in process. Until then, she is available for MVA/PIP benefits and self-pay appointments. It’s a great time to use FSA/HSA funds!
JACK RADCLIFFE, LMT
he/him
shoulder impingement, frozen shoulder, osteoarthritis, sciatica, carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet syndrome, tendinopathy, sports medicine
Tuesdays, Saturdays
Jack’s approach to care is grounded in the belief that healing begins with the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology in 2017, where he first became fascinated by the intricate systems of the human body and how they work together to create movement and vitality.
After completing his degree, Jack spent several years traveling across North America and pursuing his passion for rock climbing. These experiences helped him build a strong, athletic relationship with his body, but also showed him that true well-being requires more than physical ability. He came to recognize the importance of emotional and spiritual connection, which led him to study massage therapy at East West College of the Healing Arts. There, he began his journey toward a more integrative understanding of the body as a source of healing and connection.
Today, Jack offers Integrative Bodywork, a collaborative, treatment-oriented style of massage therapy. His work supports the musculo-fascial-skeletal system and engages the nervous system to help patients find relief, restore balance, and build resilience. Each session is designed to meet patients where they are, supporting meaningful change and a deeper sense of ease in their bodies.
To further support patients on their healing journeys, Jack is enrolled in the Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy program in Alberta, a mindfulness-based therapy that helps address attachment wounds and developmental trauma. In 2026, he will also begin training in IDA Structural Integration, expanding his ability to facilitate long-term transformation through body-centered work.
Jack has always been a lifelong learner. His early fascination with ecology has grown into a practice that integrates principles of deep ecology, somatic and ecopsychology, biological self-organization, mindfulness, and structural integration. Whether through athletics, travel, or therapeutic study, his path continues to deepen his commitment to patient-centered care, helping others reconnect with themselves and move toward wholeness.
At this time, Jack’s insurance credentialing is currently in process. Until then, he is available for MVA/PIP benefits and self-pay appointments. It’s a great time to use FSA/HSA funds!
Lindsay Nelson, LMT

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays
“ I wholeheartedly believe in the preciousness of each person. The preciousness of YOU. Your body, mind, and spirit are to be cherished and taken care of. When we understand this about ourselves to our core, our light shines its brightest. Even being a tiny part of this journey for each of my clients is an absolute honor. ”
Lindsay’s approach to bodywork is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to feel at home in their body. Her greatest hope is that each session offers space for clients to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been overlooked or overworked. Through compassionate presence and intentional touch, she supports the body’s natural ability to heal and helps clients cultivate a deeper sense of balance, ease, and self-trust.
Her work is guided by a blend of therapeutic precision and mindful flow. Lindsay integrates deep-tissue techniques that address specific muscle groups and fascial patterns with movements that calm and regulate the nervous system. She often weaves in influences from Ayurvedic massage and Tui Na, drawing from these traditions to support circulation, energetic balance, and overall vitality. Each treatment is personalized, meeting clients exactly where they are—whether seeking relief from chronic tension, recovery from injury, or simply a moment of rest and reconnection.
Growing up in the Portland area, Lindsay carries a deep affection for this city and the people who call it home. From 2024 to 2025, she took a sabbatical from her practice to participate in a mission year working with those living unhoused in Portland. That experience profoundly shaped her understanding of care, reminding her that healing is both an individual and collective act—that how we tend to one another matters.
A graduate of East West College in 2022, Lindsay continues to expand her study of bodywork and human connection, dedicated to helping others move through the world with greater comfort, awareness, and belonging.
At this time, Lindsay’s insurance credentialing is currently in process. Until then, she is available for MVA/PIP benefits and self-pay appointments. It’s a great time to use FSA/HSA funds!
